The fall season at The REP Theatre is a time for celebration and a chance to unite the community through theatre, music and film. Kicking off the season is the glorious return of “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged).” For the first few weekends in September, Kevin Boyle, Brook Stetler and Kyle Walter are set to take the stage once again bringing William Shakespeare’s 37 plays to life in the quintessential style that only The REP can provide. This trio takes audiences on a wild ride sharing their twist on the Shakespearean classics leaving theatre-goers bursting into fits of roarous laughter along the way.

In mid-September, The REP turns its focus to live music and presents an entertaining line-up of talented musicians for the LIVE@TheREP Concert Series. From award-winning artists to Grammy-nominated musical guests, every week brings new musicians ready to share their love of music with The REP. Audiences will be toe-tappin’ with Charlie Mars, get to experience the rhythmic storytelling of Darden Smith, listen to the soulful sounds of Jeff Black, and connect with many more featured musicians. With its intimate venue and low-key atmosphere, live music has the perfect home at The REP, giving both audiences and musical guests an experience that you cannot find anywhere else.

The REP’s programming is a unique blend of artistic expression and a need to connect with the community through the arts. The REP Film Club is a relatively new and popular film series that strives to entertain, engage, and bring together all fans of art and film. Born out of an intense love and desire to give extraordinary films a place to call home, The REP and a small dedicated group known as the Film Club Committee make it their mission to connect highly-acclaimed films to the community all year long. Once a month you can settle in at The REP with gourmet popcorn, great friends, and immerse yourself in the wonders of the chosen film of the month. The REP Film Club presents “Sideways” on Sept. 17 and “Revival: The Sam Bush Story” on Oct. 22, further cementing The REP as a cultural epicenter where the arts thrive.

The REP’s commitment of sharing the arts is driven by the genuine loyalty and generosity from the community’s support. The month of October marks a celebration in tribute to that continuous support with an exclusive members-only event on Tuesday, Oct. 15. The REP Member Party kicks off at 6:30 p.m. at Grayton Beer Company Taproom, with live music, complimentary food, and a raffle featuring a stay at a luxurious vacation home, courtesy of the Homeowner’s Collection. With The REP’s 20th anniversary just around the corner, The Member Party is a time to give thanks, celebrate and come together as a community to keep the arts thriving for years to come.
