Parking Ambassador – Full-Time Seasonal
Seaside Community Development Corporation is seeking a Paid Parking Ambassador who is customer-service-oriented and has strong communication and problem-solving skills. A background in traffic management is a plus for this position. A good candidate would be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly. Must have good verbal communication skills. This position requires courteous and professional interaction with every guest and team member.
As a parking ambassador, you will play a vital role in ensuring positive experiences for visitors by assisting with parking facilities and providing exceptional customer service. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patrons with parking needs, enforce regulations, and contribute to the overall flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic.

Event Coordinator
Position Summary
The Event Coordinator supports the Event Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of town events and venue activities. This role focuses on administrative, logistical, and operational support to ensure events run smoothly and efficiently. The Event Coordinator works under the direction of the Event Manager and collaborates with internal departments, vendors, and stakeholders to assist in delivering high-quality events. Pay rate is $24 per hour.
1. Event Operations & Coordination Support
- Assist the Event Manager with event logistics and coordination, including but not limited to:
- Prepare and update function sheets for town events
- Assist with event layouts, timelines, and vendor contact coordination
- Support submission and tracking of county permitting requirements
- Assist with life safety documentation and event readiness
- Coordinate with the Marketing Department (as directed) on:
- Weather-related announcements
- Event signage
- Email communications
- Utilize event-related technology, productivity software, and communication tools
- Support communication across departments to ensure event alignment
- Complete event-related errands and logistical support tasks
- Provide general Arts & Entertainment (A&E) event support, including on-site assistance
2. Program & Event Support
Provide support to the Event Manager in program-related initiatives, including:
- Assist with merchant audit preparation and documentation
- Support education initiatives and signage coordination
- Assist in preparing presentation materials and content
- Support guest survey distribution and collection
3. Administrative Support
Provide administrative and organizational support to ensure efficient event operations:
- Prepare and organize event-related documentation
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems
- Assist with tracking event details, timelines, and deliverables
Qualifications
- Experience in event coordination, hospitality, or administrative support preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in standard office and event management software
- Ability to follow direction and work collaboratively in a team environment
Working Conditions
- Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as required for events
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- On-site event support required
- Occasional local travel for event-related tasks
Role Clarification
- All responsibilities are performed under the direction of the Event Manager
- The Event Coordinator supports execution and administration but does not oversee or independently manage events
- Final decisions, approvals, and strategic direction remain the responsibility of the Event Manager
