Your Guide to Seaside’s 2026 Fourth of July Activities
Join us in SEASIDE® on July 4th, 2026, as we celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States of America and 45 amazing years of SEASIDE®! This will be the most exciting Independence Day yet, the perfect opportunity to enjoy a sunny summer day and celebrate America with family and friends. We will be starting this year’s block party celebration in Central Square at 9 AM, featuring tables, activities, crafts, and music. Merchants will host many patriotic and fun activities for visitors of all ages, including a watermelon station and The Seaside Style® tent, which will be selling its Americana Collection in case guests want to add to their Fourth of July look as the day unfolds.
Huck and Lily will be performing at 10 AM, providing child-friendly fun for the family in the Amphitheater. The pair is well-known and loved in Seaside for their weekly performances on Tuesday & Thursday, so bring your kids and allow them to enjoy live music and fun.
Our children’s patriotic bike parade will be kicking off at 11 AM. Register your child at the bike tent, located in front of Duckies. There will be patriotic decorations available to add to your bikes. The bike parade will make its way around Central Square, led by a brass band in true patriotic fashion.
Following the bike parade will be the annual hot dog eating contest hosted by Wild Bill’s Beach Dogs at 11:30 AM. The block party will wrap at Noon, head to the beach, pool or enjoy lunch at one of our local restaurants, grab some drinks. At 2 PM, soak in the afternoon and celebrate America with live music in Krier Plaza from 2 PM to 4 PM.
Later in the evening, at 7 PM, Sinfonia Gulf Coast takes the stage for a Patriotic Pops Concert. Watch the sun go down and enjoy the performance, taking this time to soak in the feeling of traditional American summer. For the finale of the night, SEASIDE®’s iconic annual fireworks show will begin at 8:30 PM. Sit on the beach or in the Amphitheater for fireworks over the Gulf.
With July 4th being one of our busiest days of the year in SEASIDE®, we strongly suggest biking or walking if you are staying in the surrounding area. We also provide a complimentary shuttle service running from 6 AM to Midnight for guests’ convenience. Linked here is more transportation information.
