Andrew and Sarah Beard, along with their two sons, Foster (9) and Keating (8), could not be more excited to invite you to The Chapel at Seaside on Sunday mornings at 10am. Andrew is the pastor at The Chapel at Seaside and has been in that position since 2020. The Beards were from Dallas, Texas, before they moved here where they served in ministry for ten years working with Highland Park United Methodist Church.

Andrew and Sarah both grew up in Missouri and have been married since 2005. They have been leading worship, teaching, preaching, visioning, and creating inside the church while together working in next-generational ministry, young adult ministry, marriage ministry, and beyond in Missouri, Texas, and Florida. They have a drive to innovate and improve, to help people experience restoration and redemption, and to see people experience transformation through the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Beard Family from the Seaside Chapel

Andrew achieved his Master of Theological Studies with a Biblical emphasis from Perkins School of Theology at SMU. Andrew and Sarah married sixteen years ago at Inlet Beach, Florida, where Sarah has been vacationing since she was born. Andrew and Sarah believe in the power of the Gospel, hospitality, relationships, and beauty. Since they arrived in 2020, they have loved being a part of the Seaside community on 30A and have loved being a part of impacting their community and beyond through worship and service. They believe that living and loving like Christ to build, proclaim, and expand the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven is a responsibility in which we all can take part.

Andrew, Sarah, Foster, and Keating would love to see you any Sunday morning at The Chapel at Seaside at 10am for worship, to join a weekday Bible Study or Home Group, or serve with some of the amazing non-profit partners of The Chapel. They have people from varied walks of life, faith traditions, and experience who engage with the ministry of The Chapel. People who just wandered in on vacation and people who are there every week. As they say every Sunday,

this is the Church, and in the name of Jesus and everyone who calls the Chapel home, you are welcome here.

Also, if you are a kid, they have stuff for you too…so…it really is for everyone.
