The Leadership Team
Kevin Boyle, General Manager

Kevin Boyle is the General Manager of the Seaside Community Development Corporation (SCDC), where he leads operations and oversees the continued preservation and evolution of the commercial district of Seaside, Florida, widely recognized as the birthplace of New Urbanism, a movement that has influenced urban design across the United States and around the world.
With nearly two decades of connection to the community, Boyle operates at the intersection of urban design, hospitality, and business performance, shaping an environment where the guest experience is not layered on top of place, but built directly into it. His work centers on stewarding the Davis family’s original vision of a walkable, human-scaled town rooted in connection, beauty, and shared experience, while ensuring it remains operationally sound and engaging for today’s audiences.
Boyle is known for a leadership approach that treats hospitality as a core business strategy rather than a service function. Blending principles from Disney Institute, Unreasonable Hospitality and Exactly What To Say with real world application, he focuses on training teams that deliver hospitality at every touchpoint through open communication, intentional experiences and intelligent connections. He believes that leadership is most effective when it’s present, approachable and actively guiding both staff and visitors toward a meaningful experience.
In line with Seaside’s legacy, he believes the most enduring organizations are defined not by their amenities or aesthetic, but by the culture, attention to detail, and human connection that permeate every interaction.
In addition to his role at SCDC, Boyle is pursuing a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Hospitality at Florida State University, studying global models of service and leadership. His work focuses on creating lasting impact while applying lessons from legacy destinations to guide the future of hospitality and leadership.
