One of Seaside’s most anticipated spring traditions is the Seaside Easter Celebration — and for good reason. Families dressed in their Easter best, grabbing brunch at any one of our award-winning restaurants, and, of course, the largest Easter Egg Hunt around.

Kids can start their Easter morning off by meeting the Easter bunny and snapping a photo in front of the famous Seaside Post Office. Kids can get their faces painted and enjoy crafts with Abrakadoodle before the main event — the egg hunt. This year, Seaside will be adding even more eggs to the Seaside Amphitheater lawn, jumping from 15,000 to 18,000 plastic eggs.

One of the most asked questions is, ‘Who fills up all those eggs?’ We’re committed to finding the best for our visitors, and have worked with Ayers Family Plastic Eggs for many years now. The high-quality eggs are made and stuffed in the USA and filled with American-made candy in workshops employing special needs individuals. The company is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, and we love working with a business with a commitment to traditions just like Seaside.

Even though Easter falls on April 1 this year, this event is no joke and you won’t want to miss out.

All events are sponsored by the Seaside Merchants. More information is at SeasideFL.com or facebook.com/SeasideFlorida. Or contact events director, Kevin Boyle, at kboyle@seasidefl.com.
