Belly Up to the New Bud & Alley’s Pizza Bar...Bar by Zandra Wolfgram
What is better than pizza at the beach? A pizza bar at the beach, to be sure. As part of Bud & Alley’s Waterfront Restaurant’s enhancement project, the Pizza Bar has a newly configured bar location that is serving up the same great food expected from a Bud & Alley’s restaurant delivered with the same friendly service.
Pizza Bar, inspired by the authentic cucina’s of Naples, is open daily from 11 a.m. and features Neapolitana-style made-to-order pizza pie baked in a wood-fired brick oven stoked with Southern oak. Bar service includes a full menu of domestic and imported beers, a rotation of craft beers on tap, premium cocktails, as well as red, white and sparkling wines by the glass and by the bottle. Once the project is fully underway, Taco Bar will operate temporarily from Pizza Bar, too.
“Though you will begin to see progress this fall as our plans of our exciting expansion take shape, all of our Bud & Alley’s restaurants will remain open for good food, good people and good times as usual,” says Bud & Alley’s founder/owner Dave Rauschkolb.
The Bud & Alley’s enhancement project will happen in phases, and is slated to be completed in spring of 2018. “As we improve, we hope our guests will continue to find comfort in what Bud & Alley’s has always been about — honest food prepared with care and served with a gracious spirit. Add a setting with a front row view of the Gulf of Mexico and you have a dining experience to remember,” Rauschkolb says.
