2024 Seaside, Florida Bachelorette Party Guide

Seaside – and 30A in general – have become a major bachelorette party destination in recent years. Whether you want a low-key beach vacation where you wear all white and play pickleball, or are looking for a little more excitement and plan on hitting Bud & Alley’s followed by dancing at AJ’s, there are options for everyone. Read on to discover the best way to spend the weekend celebrating your favorite bachelorette before her wedding.

Where to stay:

Book a house with the Homeowner’s Collection if you’re looking to spread out. You can have a kitchen to make mimosas every morning, a screened-in porch to relax and read, and a dining room for the perfect dinner party. There are plenty of private chefs in the area who are happy to come by and prepare dinner if you want a break from cooking.

If you prefer a boutique hotel experience, check in at The Court, which has been completely renovated. The Court boasts Instagrammable Serena & Lily decor and is mere steps away from the beach. Plus, there’s no arguing about who gets the room with the twin beds. The Court has eight guest rooms overlooking a stunning central garden. The boutique hotel also offers one-of-a-kind experiences, including charcuterie boards upon arrival, and bonfires on the beach.

Where to play:

Seaside Tennis Director Tracy Townsend raves about how pickleball has become the must-do activity for active bachelor, bachelorette and even wedding parties. Email tracy@30atennis.com to book a court, and visit Seaside Sport for an athleisure outfit to wear while you play.

“Pickleball is user friendly for these types of bonding activities,” Seaside Director of Racquet Sports Tracy Townsend told The Seaside Times. “We can get large groups together in a closed space and run clinics or round robins for all levels of players. The games can easily be modified to accommodate a paddle in one hand and a mimosa in the other. And the variety of expertise doesn’t matter, because fun is had by all – especially the ones with the mimosas.”

Beginner Pickleball: Mon. 10-11 a.m., Intermediate Pickleball: Thurs. 10-11 a.m. (except holidays)

Where to dine:

Bud & Alley’s Waterfront Restaurant and Bar is a classic for a reason – and whether you’re a first time visitor or your friends are, you’ll want to show them the sunset. Stop by for dinner and drinks on the rooftop and overlook the Gulf of Mexico while eating the crab cakes and sipping on tropical cocktails for a night to remember. Bud & Alley’s is “celebrating 38 years of good food, good people, and good times,” and you’ll definitely want to help them celebrate with your bachelorette party. Brunch is just as memorable, with avocado toast and a Bloody Mary offering up the best way to start your day with close friends.

The Great Southern Cafe is the ideal place to meet up for brunch after a night out on the town. Order Chef Jim Shirley’s famous shrimp and grits and make sure to indulge in one of the famous mojitos, which come in all sorts of fresh flavors, like peach, strawberry, mango, pineapple, and more.

Daytrader Tiki Bar & Restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy the extremely creative tropical cocktails. Try the Pretty in Pink, made with grapefruit juice and rosemary gin syrup, or the Summer Camp Mojito, with strawberry and fresh mint, and funky food right on the Gulf of Mexico. And if you’re feeling frisky (and like sharing) we suggest the large format cocktails for parties, like Daytrader’s Remedy or the Medical MaiTai, which comes in a blood bag, or Just The Two Of us, in one shell with two straws.
