Independence Day Celebration

Join us in Seaside as we mark a once-in-a-lifetime milestone,  the 250th birthday of the United States of America. The day kicks off at 9:00 AM with our annual block party featuring the Emerald Coast Theatre Company performing Ragged Old Flag, the National Anthem, and a full patriotic performance, followed by live music from Huck & Lily at 10:00 AM. At 11:00 AM, the celebration continues with a community Children’s Patriotic Bike Parade led by a brass band performance, followed by Wild Bill’s Beach Dogs bringing the fun with the annual Hot Dog Eating Contest at 11:30 AM. The block party wraps at noon, but the fun is just getting started!

The festivities continue in the afternoon with live music on Krier Plaza from 2:00–4:00 PM. Sinfonia Gulf Coast takes the stage at 7:00 PM for a Patriotic Pops Concert. At 8:30 PM, cap the night with a fireworks show over SEASIDE® to celebrate 250 years of America
