The 11th Annual 30A Songwriters Festival, set for Jan. 17-20, 2020, has grown from a grass-roots event into a 30A winter tradition. With 225 performances held at 30 venues along scenic Highway 30A, the festival features 175 renowned songwriters and esteemed artists. Headlining the festival are Brian Wilson, John Prine, Indigo Girls, Tanya Tucker, Don McLean and Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone, among others.
The 30A Songwriters Festival production team transforms amphitheaters, town halls, restaurants, theaters, bars and covered patios into unique music venues ranging in capacity from 75 to 500 seats indoors and 5,000 outdoors. Seaside venues include Central Square Records, The REP, Bud & Alley’s Waterfront Restaurant and Pizza Bar.
The event is co-produced, since its inception, by the non-profit Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) and Russell Carter Artist Management (RCAM). As always, the 30A Songwriters Festival is a benefit for the CAA, which supports artists and non-profit cultural events and businesses throughout the county. All net proceeds from the event are paid to the CAA to help fund its annual budget.
Weekend and VIP weekend passes can be purchased locally at the office of the Cultural Arts Alliance, as well Central Square Records in Seaside.
