With the holiday season fast approaching, near is the time for festive gatherings with friends and family. As custom dictates, it is appropriate to give a small gift to the dinner party host or hostess. While a bottle of Seaside Wine Project wine is always lovely, consider a unique wine-themed gift as a welcome alternative. I searched through Seaside to find gifts any host would be tickled to receive, and you would be more than proud to give. Here are some of the gems I found:
Amoré by the sea
A truly eclectic shop, Amoré by the Sea offers many gift options. I enjoy the different sets of wine-themed coasters. The wooden sets are printed quotes such as, “A meal without wine is like a day without sunshine” or “Pass the Red” ($25) while the ceramic set features different grape varietals and comes with an iron stand ($23).
The Art of Simple
I love the unique finds at this boutique. But I especially adore the wine and beverage canteens. These canvas printed containers are large enough to hold a full bottle of wine and feature a BPA-free, reusable plastic liner. L’Vin Pour Vintage Canteen ($35) makes compliance with the glass-free beach law stylish and charming.
An Apartment in Paris
This beautiful store is a great place to discover a new treasure. I found gorgeous loom woven tea towels inspired by French wine regions ($35). These lovely towels could be a gift on their own, or wrapped around the host’s favorite bottle.
For the wine lover and reader, Sundog Books has many options. The book I could not leave the shop without was “Wine Folly, The Essential Guide to Wine” by Madeline Puckette and Justin Hammack ($25). My favorite part of this fabulous book is the qualities and descriptions of grape varietals. It is the perfect reference for a wine tasting party.
For your next holiday party invitation, a quick jaunt to the well-appointed shops of Seaside will leave you with the perfect gift. Cheers!
