I grew up going to Seaside as a child. I have a bracelet which belonged to my grandmother. It has a charm for all the grandchildren (myself included) and is inscribed, “A Date to Remember, June 7-13, 1969.” I don’t remember that, we were all too young. But I do remember many times of cooking out, bonfires and local shops. One time we saw walking catfish on the beach.
I have rekindled that love for Seaside. And it is as magical as it ever was. Maybe more so now in the times we live.
