When the Coastal Living magazine crew arrived to shoot an Easter Brunch on the beach story, the sunset was gorgeous, but the temperature had dropped down into the 20s. Patience has many virtues, and by Sunday the sun was shining bright and the thermometer read a balmy 68 degrees. What a difference a few days make! Photos courtesy Lynn Nesmith
Setting the table for an Easter Brunch overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Left to right: Local author Lynn Nesmith, who wrote the book “30A Style,” served as the stylist for the shoot. The crew from Coastal Living included food editor Julia Rutland, deputy design director Tempy Segrest, and assistant lifestyle editor Rachael Burrow. Grayton Beach resident Colby Taylor (and a graduate of the Seaside Neighborhood School) helped with all manner of logistics.
