DESCRIPTION:We are thrilled to announce the return of the 2026 30A Songwriters Festival (January 16th-January 19th) to SEASIDE®!   \nThe Amphitheater will host the kick-off event for the festival on January 16th\, starting at 2:00 p.m.\, with the headliner\, Margo Price\, performing at 3:30 p.m. This event will be open to the public with priority seating for ticket holders. The Lyceum Stage will be hosting shows on January 16th and January 17th. \nCentral Square Records\, Pickle’s\, and Bud & Alleys will all be participating again as venue partners of the festival and will host stages throughout the weekend. SUMMARY:STOP MAKING SENSE: Live Event Hosted by Jerry Harrison
DESCRIPTION:Newly restored in 4K to coincide with its 40th anniversary\, the 1984 film Stop Making Sense was directed by renowned filmmaker Jonathan Demme and is considered by critics as the greatest concert film of all time. Starring members of the band Talking Heads\, the live performance was shot at Hollywood’s Pantages Theater and features the band’s most memorable songs. \nThis live event will feature a public screening of the re-release hosted by co-star Jerry Harrison with post-screening comments and an audience Q&A. \nAdmission is free\, but space is limited. Entry will close once capacity is reached. Please bring your own chair and blanket.
